Showcasing Today's Agriculture

The purpose of the inaugural Today’s Agriculture Display, unveiled prior to the 2012 Pennsylvania Farm Show, was to aid in bridging the gap between consumers and the farming community, while clearly portraying how food animals are raised; the growth stages of corn and soybeans; highlighting the equipment used in agriculture today; and the connection agriculture has to protecting water quality.

Thanks to many organizations with employees passionate about the industry, planning for 2014 is well underway. On behalf of the Pennsylvania Alliance for Livestock Care and Well-Being and the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, PennAg Industries Association will once again lead the construction of the Today’s Agriculture exhibit. Similar to the previous displays, the exhibit will feature a glimpse inside production practices of today’s agriculture.

Today's Agriculture 2015 - Information & Resources

The biggest argument anti-agriculture groups use against the agribusiness community - that agriculture doesn’t allow the public to see how their food is produced - is dispelled by the straight-forward approach of the Today’s Agriculture Display.
