In September 2010, a letter was sent to members of the horse industry in Pennsylvania making everyone aware of regulation changes to the Manure Management Manual which will have an impact on the industry. To view the letter visit the Members Only page (Comments Filed section) or contact the PennAg office.
A decision was made on Friday, December 10, 2010 affirming that a stable for race horses is exempt from the Uniform Construction Code as an ag building. Although there was not much disagreement on this issue, we now have clear affirmation of the ruling.
