2021 Expo

Registration for the 2021 Expo has not yet opened as we are continuing to monitor the evolving situation related to COVID-19. We will re-evaluate our current plan by mid-January in hopes of having a better indication for the potential for loosening of large gathering restrictions by April. If able to move forward, we will aim to open registration by the end of January. If the outlook doesn’t appear to have changed by mid-January, we will consider all viable options and notify prospective sponsors and exhibitors accordingly with updated plans. We appreciate your patience as we navigate through these uncertain times.

Date Change for 2021 Keystone Pork Expo, Poultry Progress Day and MidAtlantic Manure Summit

Mark your calendars and plan to join us in April!

Over the years, PennAg staff, members and industry alike have come to thoroughly enjoy and look forward to the Keystone Pork Expo, Poultry Progress Day and MidAtlantic Manure Summit (Expo). The Expo offers important annual opportunity for networking, education, innovation, collaboration and much more, both showcasing and bringing together the best of the best in Pennsylvania agriculture.

Unfortunately, many similar events have been cancelled or moved to a virtual format since the onset of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic as well as continued and evolving restrictions placed on larger gatherings across the state, especially those held indoors. PennAg acknowledges and appreciates that our members and industry partners have been working hard through the pandemic from the very beginning and that, regardless of the virus or restrictions, the business of agriculture does not rest. We also recognize that our members and industry partners find great value in the Expo and intend to do everything possible to prevent this event from experiencing a similar fate as those that have been cancelled.

For these reasons, PennAg has made the decision to proactively change the 2021 Expo date, as well as the PennAg Annual Banquet, for those that enjoyed participation in both events. Please mark your calendar and make plans to join us.

Tuesday, April 20, 2021 - PennAg Annual Banquet

Wednesday, April 21, 2021 - Expo

As in recent years, these two events will be held back to back and once again hosted at Spooky Nook Sports Complex, Manheim.

By migrating from our usual mid-February schedule, our hope is that the additional time will allow for the state to see significant improvement in the coronavirus situation, offering increased opportunity to host the Banquet and Expo as 'normally' as possible in these unprecedented times. We're also hopeful that this move will offer some relief to those making plans to join us, either as attendees or as sponsors and exhibitors, by minimizing the need to shuffle schedules, travel itinerary and even regular duties on the farm or in the office, resulting from postponements, corporate and government policy changes and so on.

Watch for more details about both the Expo and the PennAg Annual Banquet, including agenda as well as sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities, to come following the holidays. We appreciate your continued patience as we navigate this uncharted territory and hope to see you in April at Spooky Nook!
